Go into Control Panel, then into 'add/remove programs' when the list appears, click on 'norton' then click 'uninstall' and follow the onscreen instructions.
You need to get the norton removal tool to fully get all the tiny little bits out. Google it.

Hi when i go to add remove programs i cant even see it in there thats what i tried doing ? but i know its somewhere as i keep getting reminders saying its out of date !!!!
In 'add/remove programs' it will probably be named 'Sympantec' . There might be a few things with the name and you must uninstall them all.
Hope this helps!
Sorry, not Sympantec - it's Symantec.
Let me know if it works!

Hi leean I posted back in December 2006 number 337400 ? and have been well satisfied with the help and advice given by Ethel and Buenchico you may have to run the removal tool a few times it has a nasty habit of hanging in the registry HTH all the best Tez
first you need to know which version you are using
then download tha "flavour" from here
