I am not very good with technology and feel quite proud of myself for having got as far as connecting my H2 to the laptop and playing a file through iTunes. However, the file has not actually downloaded as it cannot be played as soon as I disconnect the H2. Also, I was hoping to be able to put it through Audacity in order to cut out some extraneous noises - it was a live recording and generally tidy it up a bit. Can anyone explain to me in words of one syllable how I might be able to achieve this? If your answer is too technical I am afraid that I wont understand it!

Thanks

I'm not that familiar with the H2, but at a guess, having connected it, you can open it as an external drive and simply drag or copy the files onto your hard disk.

Double-click My computer
You should see the H2 listed as an external disk drive
Double-click it
You should see the files you've recorded
Either:
Hold down mouse button and drag to you desktop (or a folder)
or:
Right-click, choose copy
Open the folder where you want the files, right-click, choose paste
