Since re-installing Windows ME and Office 2000 along with updates to Adobe/Java and a gfew other bits and pieces I have regularly had an error

Line : 286

Error : Object Expected.

If I say 'No' to debug most things go OK. Sometimes my systen freezes.

If I say yes, I get a debug screen which means nthing to me. (It is many years since I wrote COBOL).

Any Non Technical Ideas please?
