Downloaded e-mule and not sure where the files are?

Could someone please tell me where the files go once they have been downloaded? Carn't find them anywhere! Thanks in advance!

Maybe similar to Kazza and Ares there should be a folder called Shared Folder.

Search for a file you know you downloaded via

Start > search > search for files and folders

if you downloaded spiderman2.avi then search for it and when you see it, right click the file and click open containing folder and it will show you its destination.

from here you can select up one level from the toolbar and it will take you back one step to the actual folder and then just right click the folder and create a chortcut and drag it to the desktop.

You will have a shortcut to that folder on the desktop for easy access later.

Equally all of these programs have the option to change the filepath of the shared folder like to the root of the C drive or sumething.

there is an easier way

in the icon tool bar at the top of Emule is a 'Tool' icon (if i remember it rightly, havnt used it for ages). Click the 'Open Incoming folder' and a window will open pointing to your emule incoming items. check the address bar for the system address and make a note, OR press the up 1 level button on windows explorer to get to the emule root folder, right click when over the 'incoming' folder and create a short cut. This can then be dragged to your desktop (or where ever you want it) for quick access. Or, as the person above says reroute your incoming files to your own folder
