Could someone on answerbank help me please,when I send gmail on a desktop I press enter on the righthand side of my computer.

But on a laptop and I havn't got an enter key what do I press?????.

Why would you not have an enter key on a laptop?

Anyway just use the mouse or mouse pad and click send like everyone else.

Good heavens! I've never seen a pc keyboard of any size or shape without an Enter key.

What make/model is your laptop?

You can always click 'send' within gmail. The send button is just above 'from' in 'compose mail'.

Your laptop hasn't got an "enter" key ?

It's at the right hand side of the keyboard, and has an arrow symbol pointing down and left on it.

Thankyou Paulst30 & Ethel &nightmare,I have a Dell Inspiron 9400,but it hasn't got an enter key and yes I have got a mouse I think I will have to plug that in .

It has got an Enter key - it is on the far right of the keyboard, a large key immediately below 'backspace'. I am looking at the Dell Inspiron 9400 now and can clearly see it.

How have you been making paragraphs without the Enter key?

And you should be able to navigate the cursor and right click with the touchpad and buttons. You don't need a mouse.

Remember though most manufacturers dont call it an enter key anymore, its called a carriage return in ECDL lol

its not hard to see, its the biggest key on the keyboard infact its the second one down on the furthest right of the keyboard. unless its been taken away as in broken with just a little button could be that.

Thankyou Ethel & Paulst30,yes I have got a button below the backspace which is the largest of the buttons so I will try this .
