accidently delted my computer

Hi I accidently deleted the my computer and my doucments from my desktop...how do i get my computer back as I cannot see how I would get to the c drive without that link..please help...how do I put the link back into the desktop thanks

Either:
Go to the Recycle Bin, select "My Computer" and choose "Restore this item".

Or:
Go to the Start menu, and drag "My Computer" to the desktop.

i do not have it in the recyle bin as I hit shift and delete

I also do not seem to have it in the start popup any other ideas?????????

Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer. You will find it there.

Right-click a clear area of the desktop
Choose Properties
Go to the Desktop tab
Click Customise
Tick the boxes for the items you want
If they are already ticked:
Untick Them
Click OK
Repeat as above.

go to start then all programmes then accessories them system tools then system restore. pick a date when all was ok and should restore to the point before you deleted.
