o know what a pdf is but what is it when it's a lores pdf??

I think lores stands for Low Resolution (low res)

A search on Google makes me think it is a PDF optimized for the screen rather than a printer.

Not sure why you would want one or how you create one though.

I think it is where you set the resolution at 72dpi (dots per inch) which is fine for the screen but not for a printer.
