Hot Water--Update.

Didn't get a new jacket. Was about to make one from an old duvet which my 97yr old mother-in-law gave to me for the purpose concerned, when things were taken out of my hands.
Immersion heater packed-up; plumber unable to remove the 42yr old item; tank replaced with bonded cylinder type.
Good job done, because I can continue my practice of leaving-on the immersion.
The original copper cylinder had pin holes in it. All the evidence was there for me to see after it had been taken out.
