How can I increase the size of the text on my screen? Also, many of my net pages do not occupy the whole screen; instead they appear as an A4 upright format. How can I change this?

Thanks

In Internet Explorer and FireFox, go to View -> Text Size to increase the font.

As for the layout of web pages, if they are designed with a "fixed width", they cannot be modified. It's done this way so the layout is the same in any size browser. If your screen is set to a higer resolution than the web page was designed in, you'll always have borders down the sides.
try holding doen the crtl key and move the scroll wheel on the mouse, works for me.
