AVG to be discontinued

Today I had a pop-up on my computer stating that my free anti-virus programme, AVG will be discontinued on 15th January 2007. Does this apply across the board? and if so what are other AVG uses going to use as their anti-virus protection, after this date?

I think it just means 7.1. 7.5 is out now, and that's still free. It is confusing though -- they should just tell you to upgrade.
As Fo3nix suggests, you simply need to update from version 7.1 to 7.5. (It's still free). See here:
