Is this a scam?

I have just had an Email saying they have taken money from my Visa card for an order for Spydoctor,which I have never heard of. How do I cancel a payment like this? Many Thanks.

So you don't need to cancel any payment etc etc. Just ignore it and delete it. DO NOT reply to it.

I'd get in touch with your visa card bank & inform them of this. being someone who was a victim of identity fraud a couple of years ago, I always think its best to be alert for things like this. whatever you do, don't open any links on the email & don't reply to it either. all the best

Good advice. I imagine the Visa provider will do their utmost to stop and hopefully prosecute the culprits

Just a thought,There is no way they can take money from Card without me giving them the Card Number,is there?

They would have to know the card number, your address and the CVV or CVC value from the back of the card - so it's very unlikely but not impossible.

its a scam - if you responded they would would begin to try and get the proper info from you, e.g. ask for the card details so they "check their records" etc. ignore them

and now been another question about it further up - the attachment had a virus in it apparently
