I am looking to buy a MP3 /CD /Radio for the bedroom.
I need it to be small as possible yet powerful but cheap.

Quite a lot around - shop around. We use one in the kitchen - it's a Philips, we managed to pick it up a while back from Powerhouse at half-price because there was no manual (eventually got one from the internet).
Try Googling or use Froogle or Kelkoo etc.
Also check out Aria, Dabs, Novatech and Maplin.
