How MAXBLAST works. Can you tell me if it works with a new hard drive alone or if it is necessary to have 2 hard drives in the PC, the old one and the new additional. It is importan to know also if it works only with maxtor drives.Thank you for your attention.

MaxBlast4 can be used to install a single drive to a system aswell as adding to drive(s) already present.

It is primarily for use with Maxtor drives but it may (at your own risk!) also work with other manufacturers' drives.

Other manufacturers have their own versions of similar software, such as Seagate Discwizard and Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools.
