How do I access my Tiscali e-mail account from broadband?

I've had a Tiscali e-mail address for a couple of years now, few months back I had Telewest broadband installed (switching from Tiscali dial-up) and now can't get Outlook Express to access the account. Any ideas on what to change on Outlook Express' settings?

You need to know a few things first to access the account. 1 - what kind of mail server do Tiscali use (POP3 is the usual but they may be different) 2 - What are the addresses for the incoming and outgoing mail servers. Add the Tiscali account to Outlook Express: Press 'Tools'. Press 'Accounts' in that menu. A window will pop up with all your internet accounts on. To add an e-mail account press 'Add' - then 'Mail' - then answer the questions.
I would have thought that has already been set up. After all. you have only change how you connect to the internet. Have you removed the original Tiscali dial-up connection? Perhaps OE has not been told how to connect using your new connection (in OE: tools>accounts...>highlight your mail account>properties and in the "connection" tab make sure you have selected your new broadband connection (or LAN if this is how you configured it)). It is also possible that Tiscali won't allow you to download pop mail through other ISPs. If that is the case you will have to use the OWA equivalent "Webmail" see: http://www.tiscali.co.uk/login/index.php?url=/comm

If you're still using broadband access it's possible that Tiscali has terminated you're account due to the fact you're not dialing in to their server.
I also transferred from Tiscali to broadband (ntl) and I am still accessing my Tiscali email account. This was over 2 years ago, but I think that broadband reconfigured some stuff in OE. Pickle's suggestion sounds good, and I am fairly sure the server addresses are on the Tiscali web site. If you need them, I can provide them, just post a question here. Good luck.
It would help if you could tell us whether you have ever accessed your account since changing providers.

Don't know what caused the problem, but followed Pickles suggestion. Got the server details from Tiscali page and set up a new account in Outlook Express using them and this seems to be working. Cheers!
