How can I stop disappearing icons?

Is there a way to keep the icon of websites that I save in my favourites? Mine disappear after a while and are replaced with windows internet explorer icons.

Which browser are you using cherry? I use mozilla firefox, and that does keep the icon of the websites I have in my bookmarks section... if the website itself has an icon, that is.

This happens to me when I run window washer or generally "clean" my pc of rubbish with disc cleanup.
