Sometimes after being on the internet, I get the following message when I try to shut down the computer.

Windows A fatal exception 06 has occurred at F100:00000000

The current application will be terminated. Press any key to terminate the current application. Pressing Ctrl Alt Del again will restart your computer. Press any key to continue.

This is what happened. I pressed the space bar, after several seconds the wall paper screen appears minus the desktop, the cursor was in the middle of the screen but would not respond to any movement of the mouse. Pressing Ctrl Alt Del had no effect and the only way to get things moving was to restart the computer using the restart button. The computer usally then shuts down without any problems.

This only happens when I have been on the internet, no particular site. I upgraded to broadband yesterday but this was happening before that and still is. I can't find any info on fatal exception 06 at F100:00000000 can anybody please help? I am using windows 98SE

 Yours sincerely
