I decided to come away from Firefox which I was finding rather slow. At the same time I changed over to Google Chrome (which I have managed to avoid doing so up to now).

I now regret going over to Chrome although I'm told it's faster. Unfortunately, I now find I have lost my 'favourites' column down righthand side and I can find no way of getting it back. I'm quite devastated as I found it a form of keeping info I wanted to keep on hand and easily available.

There are also changes in Google Mail 'compose' which is now in a completely new ridiculous form! Why are changes never to the better? Has any other abber had these experiences? Any help gratefully received.

I tried Google Chrome and I also got a load of unwanted added programmes which drove me crackers. All I can recall is that I went on to my Control Panel and deleted it from there and ran a Malware scan. I'm not a computer buff someone will be able to help you better than I can. Good Luck!

ayg - thankyou for your imput. I'm so fed up with Google that since my last message, I have now gone nice and safely with BT (which incidentally is now bt.com and not bt/yahoo.com). Also, I have now managed to restore all the info I thought I had permanently lost.

I am once again a happy bunny!
