i want to buy my daughter, who is Thai and living in Thailand, a Samsung tablet or something similar. If I bought it here in UK would she be able to use it in Thailand, language, keyboard etc. I'm not too clued up on this and need some advice, thankyou.

Does she want to use the tablet with all the text in English, or does she want to use it in her own language?

If her own language then I don't think a tablet bought in the UK would be any good.
Wait until you go out and visit her, they are much cheaper out there. Treated my son who lives and works in Bangkok to a laptop and was surprised at how much cheaper they were.
Other problem is how do you get it delivered to her, post isn't very reliable at all.
Just looked on my Samsung tablet and Thai isn't a listed available language.

You can change the language on an ipad to Thai.
