Forgive my ignorance on this subject guys, but can anyone tell me if I can programme my Blackberry Curve 8520 to act as a Sat Nave ?

you will have to install an app from the blackberry store - googlemaps or similar

Although you may find it tricky using a phone that hasn't GPS built into it as a sat nav.
