I have been using Skype to keep in touch with family abroard and have had no issues until now. This has happened after I had problems installing Norton Security 2013 on my partners laptop. Norton eventually sorted things after several long period on the phone, and remotely controlling my pc to resolve things.
The Norton agent uninstalled all manner of things, which later required a senior advisor to step in and sort.

Regarding Skype, my partner went to use it tonight, the first time since the Norton issues, and it says "offline" and could not make contact with anyone, even though they are online. How do we "switch" Skype back on? Thank you
