check your manual its either an hdmi cable or vga not scart or phono

also check if your tv has an hdmi socket, old tv's dont have this

Not an apple, but I use HDMI to connect my laptop to the TV.

hmm? not as good as i thought apple were then not having a hdmi or vga socket. i also use hdmi cable ?
