Laptop connection

My Sister in Law comes here with her HP Altec Lancing(?) laptop,and when she uses it it connects to the internet ok UNLESS she has it on charge at the same time, when it just will not connect...Any ideas how to sort it ? Thanks in advance, John.

Tempted to say, don't charge it at the same time.

Surely if it happens when she is at yours it must happen when she is elsewhere too ? I think she has a case to claim under warranty. If it is out of warranty get a repair shop to look at it.

Only just found out tonight.Also when she tries to get on the internet My laptop doesn,t connect either!. John

Check the power settings - she might have it set to turn off wireless whne the charger is plugged in!
