Looks like a 'pop up' ad. I wouldn't follow that link. You could run a Norton check for piece of mind
But you can always download a free other package such as avast or macafee
if you havent got mcafee installed then no, it's not from them. they don't send spam mails out. it's a pop-up ad, and don't click the link whatever you do. odds are it'll try to tell you taht your computers got a virus and try to get you to click on another link, which'll be a virus or a scam to get you to make a payment to 'fix' it.

play safe and run a full norton scan and if you've a mailwair virus or anything it should spot it. also delete your history/cookie folders too as a way to remove any malicious stuff possibly in there.
these scams are all too common nowadays I'm afraid

Thanks - factor30 & munchie63 - thought I get a good reply on here THANKS VERY MUCH. LaMandolinata.
I am not an expert but feel that in addition to scanning with Norton you should do a 'run through' with the free edition of Malwarebytes to clear any 'nasties' which may have got past Norton and invaded in your computer.

My advice is based on what I have read from the real experts in AB.

As per my opinion if your Norton antivirus is not expired so your pc is secured otherwise your computer at risk.
