I think you will find that your son is required to attend the job centre to seek employment. If as you say he has been given an email address they must assume that he has a computer & it will be for the purpose of notifying him of jobs available for him to go to the job centre to sign on for that work, if he has given them your email address then they will contact him through you.
Hope this helps with your query.

I find the question a little confusing. you want to receive his emails that he sends to the job centre? if he wants you to have them he will have to send them to you. you cannot just access someone else's emails.
Hi Tomking,

Could you let us know what the email address domain is. Please tell JUST us the part after the "@" symbol (for example: @jobcentre.co.uk)

all the best,

Ed
I think the OP wants her son to be able to access them at home on her PC rather than go to the job centre every time
Yes pink-kittens, but job seekers must be actually seen to be seeking work.

If tomking were to reply to the Ed's question, I feel an answer to the OP's query would be forthcoming.

that's true, but then they dont have to go to the job centre every day
There is an online job centre so if he cant pick up emails, even at home, then it would be no point applying, would there? You don't sign on every day
I have been thinking hard about the OP's question and am getting very confused. Accordingly, I feel that tomking should provide some further information for her question to be correctly answered.

It is perhaps an unfair thought on my part that the son has been given an e/mail address of the Job Centre and mum wants to see what he's telling them. I hardly think that they would give a personal address for him to set-up on his computer for e/mail purposes. Consequently, if the son has a computer and is able to send e/mails to the Job Centre, there would be nothing to prevent him from posting a c.c. to his mum; if indeed he wishes her to see his e/mail communications.

Ron..
I asked a friend yesterday as her son is unemployed and they access emails at home
However, she wasn't sure how he did it lol and had no idea of the email address

If its a web mail then he can easily access it at home. For example mine is @gmail.com so to access it at home, you just go to google mail

OP, please get back to us
tomking........Surely you are reading the responses which you have been given by ABers, who wish to be of help to you.

Is there a reason for your refraining from commenting further.?
