Raining like its never rained before in East Anglia.
Agree with Alexanderd. In fact it looks so grim outside one might almost imagine oneself to be in Sunderland.
Bonny evening in the West of Scotland
Not today here in Kent - grey and drizzling.

Mind you, it has precipitated down all day (and ruined the Red Arrows display) so a lovely sunset is a consolation.
Mike you are too old to be sarcastic or is it grumpy old man syndrome? lol
It could be a Lowry scene ... I can see the dark wet slates of the neighbours roof .. almost darkness now.
too much cloud, shame
The Red Arrows and many others were supposed to kick off the Bournemouth Airshow this afternoon but it was all cancelled because it's thrashed it down most of the day.
dull and rainy in Lincolnshire, more like September weather today, sunshine and rain and now inky black clouds, very dark. We need the rain though, poor cabbages suffering from too much dry weather., farmers not happy. unhappy farmer means higher prices for the veg.
Annie.
not raining here at the moment in Edinburgh but dull. Very nearly dark.
Dark and dull here in Bristol so not the same as yesterday. Glad I saw the sunset then as it has not been duplicated tonight.
The only stunning thing about today's weather was the flash flooding in Bournemouth.

How did I manage to book my car in for its MOT on the same day and walk to walk?

Ena, you have survived! - we saw it on the news, and wondered how you are wading - is it OK?
I went in early so I could leave early - my road floods whenever the rain comes down like that and I have had water come in through the front door before. The ruddy fallen pine needles that abound around here stuff the drains up. However, all was well, boxy, apart from my wet clothes and shoes, so no damage done.

The last time it rained like that, Noah came round for tea ;)
