ab icon as desktop shortcut

I seem to remember a while back a question being asked if it were possible to get an ab icon one's desktop as a short cut - have tried to find the thread without success - does anyone know how to do this please?

The way I'd do it is to right click on the wallpaper, choose new, shortcut, and paste the answerbank address in as the thing the shortcut is pointing to.

I just saved AB to favourites, and then dragged the icon favourites to my desk top.

No sweat!

Or you can just drag the little AB icon (favicon) on the far left of your browsers address bar onto the desktop.

have just done successfully done that Ratter - thank you - I got a little confused the other way but appreciate OG's help - maybe I should be more adventurous in the first place!
