Can't actually see the canal from here Dave, but it was it's usual tranquil self yesterday when I went to do a couple of bits on the boat.

oh, for some reason i was under the impression that you lived on a canal boat.

No mate, I live about eight miles from the canal, self and Mrs. w spend a fair bit of time there as i am the Boat Charter manager for CCT at Saul Junction.

still sounds nice tho, id never get any work done if i was you as id always be fishing.. :-)

There's plenty of fishing going on, no good to me though, I'm alergic to fish!

Fairly rare, And a pain in the ***! I look at a lovely dressed salmon and I can't have any.

so can you touch fish but not eat it or not touch and not eat.
