Every Year a Wimbledon i see in the crowd members of all 3 of the services,How come they are there,are they to do with security or is there some other reason ......Neil

Acertain amount of entrance tickets are made available to Forces personnel each year. You have to apply for them to get there. You have to treat the subsequent attendance as duty .. in uniform.
Some forces personnel work, too. They do escort, information and general duties whilst there.

They are there voluntarily to act as stewards, they make up half of the stewards at Wimbledon, the other half being made up of members of the London Fire Brigade.
