Hopefully he'll provide some stability but there's very little chance of good times until the Yanks and their debt have gone.
No, because Liverpool have only 2 top class players, the rest are very average

Liverpool have had their day, never again will they rule English football

Trouble is no matter how good the manager he will need to buy quality players,, liverpool can't compete unless they get new and very wealthy owners, and without champions league football they will struggle to attract anyone of note
Roy Hodgson needs to be given a fair chance and only time will tell if he can make a success of things at Anfield. He is a very experienced Coach and well respected throughout the game.Stability is the most important thing at present. The sale of the Club is also a high priority and Martin Broughton is hopeful that proceedings can start to take place this summer and not necessarily to the highest bidder either, but to the most suitable. Hicks and Gillette will take no part in it as Broughton and Barclays Capital are in charge of proceedings contrary to what has appeared in the Tabloids !!
well said redman :-)
Hi chelle7272 ! Keep the faith :-))
What happened to Professor Rogan Taylor and his bid for fans to buy the club? Seemed like a great idea at the time.
Piggy. What do you mean exactly by "The Good Times?" My memory takes me back as far as LFC being in the old 2nd division, and awaiting the arrival of one William Shankly. At the moment I would be grateful if Mr Hodgson would restore basic credibility to a club that for so many years reigned supreme both here and throughout the rest of Europe. This credibility can only be founded on hard work, very hard work. The task will not happen overnight, but then again neither did "The Good Times" to which you refer!!
