I thought the gloves Green was wearing looked like sponges, no wonder he couldnt keep hold of the ball. Even that the "great save" he made squirmed off his glove and nearly went in off the post!

Totally agree about Green's 'great save'. It almost went right thru him.
With strong hands he should have pushed it out for a corner but he just got enough on it to hit the post and luckily no one was following in.

Unreal choice playing Green in the opener. Should've saved him for if/when we were safe in the group. James has been more focused now than ever before in his career. His moments of excellence far outweigh the sporadic lacks of concentration that gave him the nickname 'donkey'. Even though Pompey got relegated he's had a good season with them the last few years.
