Watched an interview on tv with Martin and his wife, running a pub was never mentioned, so i guess the answer is no.

About 2-3 years ago his job away from darts was as a computer technician in a secondary school.

He wouldn't live for 5 minutes in the PDC. A 92 average doesn't get you very far in with the big boys. I think he prefers to be a big fish in a small pond. He said last week that the BDO was sport, and the PDC was entertainment. I would love to see Phil Taylor entertain him over 13 legs.
