Jayne..yes, Ossie Ardiles, Pele, Victor Stallone were all in the team that played the Germans , but Major Karl Von Steiner (Camp Kommandant) was ordered to arrange a team to REPRESENT England which may be quite different from an England team and perhaps in my question I should have stated �represented England�

Yes it was filmed at the cessation of World War 2��.1981.
