3 from Ascot, 3 from Happy Haddock and 1 from Taunton make up today's ITV7 with the first leg being the 1.25 Haddock.

Racing's very poor at the moment, imo.
I thought that was why you were betting on yellow cards in Arsenal games, Ken. ;-)
Cheltenham's around the corner. Everything improves after that.
I hope todays announced results are for the 23rd.
Question Author
You've both lost me :-(

Having an a.w. bet while i study the jumps races;

Marion's Boy, Living Legend, Mobashr and Resilience. 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca for a poss £1,156.
Haha Check the date Ken. Spike is refering to the "unusual" betting patterns on yellow cards being isssued to an Arsenal player.
Question Author
Ah, yes i see, T. I have actually written 23/1 in about a half dozen bank transactions in my 'bank pad' this morning:-((
Spice, i could do with a couple of Arsenal red cards tomorrow - and that's just to get a draw!
Apparently the card was issued to O'Bannion (Irish spelling) I can see why he'd be tempted, he's only on £375,000 a week.
Question Author
Well, having had a gander at today's main meets, i have to agree with you Spice. The racing is a bit dire, at least from my point of view. Too many fields of less than 8 runners. Done the ITV 7, but cannot get away from the short prices so there's no e.w. acca.

Jonbon, Amelia's Dance, Unexpected Party, Tommy's Oscar, Molly Olly's Wishes, Royal Pagaille and Palmers Hill.

Two lovers of Haydock in the 2.35, Royal Pagaille (2 from 3 and a place) and Lord Du Mesnil (3 from 4 and a place) so i've done them in a rev f/c.

Back later with main bet.
Sorted. Although the racing looks competitive enough it is not too exciting for the average fun punter. Nothing much there to tempt a long odds flutter. Done the ITV7 taken out the 2 odds on leaving the 5 to make a win 50p Super Yankee. The 2.00 at Haydock has one of the odds on runners going in it and although it is in my ITV7 I will have a cheecky quid on the Ben Pauling runner Global Citizen, and put him in a straight F/Cast to come second to the fav. Good Luck.

Jonbon 1.25H.(odds on)
Tease and Seize @7/2 1.33T
Garry Clermont @3/1 1.45A
Tommy's Oscar 2.00H(odds on)
Molly Ollys Wishes @5/2 2.20A
Empire Steel @4/1 2.35H
Palmers Hill @11/4 2.55A (Also a free £5 bet with 365)
I see Derek O'Connor is riding one (Sizing Mauritius) trained by Mrs Harrington for Alan & Ann Potts in the 4.00 at Navan.
Although it ran v badly in its only race, I can't not back it at 40/1.
It can't run that badly again......can it? ;-)
Question Author
Same as you with the free bet, Togo.

1.33 Tau; Amelia's Dance @ 5/1 - 4 places
1.45 Asc; Unexpected Party @ 7/2 - 4 places
3.10 Hay; Moon King @ 11/2
3.53 Tau; Flintara @ 8/1 - 6 places

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £23, 4 winners = £2,382.

Best of luck, all.
Question Author
Just for a while i thought i was in with a shout on the ITV7 - along with 2,000+ others, apparently ;-) Even had Palmers Hill won, i would have been sweating as i can't remember the distance i put in the tie-breaker.
Oscars Leader 3.45 Haydock coming back to 2 miles might give a wee bit of confidence so small outlay watching with interest .
My best effort was the near miss with Global Citizen. Wonder how it would have shaped up without taking on Navajo Pass like a couple of greyhounds. Str. F/Cast covered my bets for the day no damage.
Question Author
Two win singles so far (Moon King ran like a donkey).
That Shishkin win was some performance.
Good call Weecalf. I threw a cuple of quid at it, and it came back tenfold. Silly little double with the one that Spike flagged up as well.
Shishkin is odds on in the Champion Chase and Enurgemene at 3s with 365. First flow is at 33/1 and looks a better option for a punt as far as I am concerned ... but what do I know. :))
Good Togo I won’t retire on winning but a few quid Thought I may have used up all my luck this week backing Spurs 3 2 at Leicester .
It comes in 3s Weecalf. You must have been on the verge of a heart attack for those two minutes of extra time. :))
Nah knew Spurs would win Lol
Haha.
