the context
Deserted white house ( no marines means he isnt in his office ) and a Dem commentator on Trumps latest ( the fight goes on etc )

It was started by a VW salesman who retired to Florida to go fishing but got sidetracked when he found turtles injured by passing speedboats. Lovely guy.

JNO, I've never been to Florida Keys. The furthest south we got to was Naples. Lovely beach but nothing else. A great experience was at Seaworld in Orlando where the young ray fish swim just below the surface and let you stroke them. They swim back and forth along your hand. If you stop and take your hand out, they shove their heads above the water at you, wanting you to keep stroking them. It's a weird experience as you can feel all the bones moving in the ray fish.
