Tora - remembered the joke. Name three fish that start and end with the letter K. Answer - Killer Shark, KwikSave Tuna Steak and Kilmarnock. "But Kilmarnock is not a fish" you shout. " It is, it's a plaice" you reply. Was funny when I was at school but still nothing to do with football.
Name two teams in the last 25 seasons who have lost an FA Cup tie and yet lived to fight another day.

Answer follows:

Darlington in 1999-200, lost in the second round but were reinstated as "lucky losers" to make up for Man Utd not being in that season's 3rd round draw
Sheff United (I think the season before) lost to Arsenal in a 3rd round tie, but the game was replayed at the invitation of the winning team due to a controversial incident that led to Arsenal scoring.
Which international football superstar (FA Cup winner, UEFA Cup winner, World Cup winner) was manager of Newcastle United immediately before Kevin Keegan's first tenure?
Nowadays penalties settle any replays in the FA Cup but in 1971, an FA Cup qualifying match had to be played 6 times before a winner was found, 4 of those matches going to extra time. The sides played each other on Saturday, Tuesday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and finally Monday when it was decided who would meet Aldershot in the next round. Which two teams were involved in this epic?
Which two GB teams once met in Africa?

Accrington STANLEY and LIVINGSTON

Boom boom
Ardiles was manager of Newcastle prior to Keegan.
Very good tricky question, ich, if the questions are oral. :-)
On the subject of bizarre FA Cup exits, Linfield of the Irish League met Nottingham Forest in an FA Cup replay in Belfast in 1889.
The home side won 3-1, but unbeknown to the crowd, the game was being played as a friendly only, Linfield having already decided they didn't want to progress in the competition, as they would have faced a no-expenses-paid trip to Chatham in Kent to play the next round.
Needless to say the crowd were not happy when they found out.
Forgot to give my answer to the FA Cup question; Alvechurch and Oxford City.
Those were the days!
First black player in premier league, and team?

Trebilcock, Everton.
BD: ""But Kilmarnock is not a fish" you shout. " It is, it's a plaice" you reply. Was funny when I was at school but still nothing to do with football. " - the punchline is "it is, it's a small plaice in Scotland" it's also a Football team.
When did Trebilcock play in the Premier League?
Groan
"First black player in premier league, and team? Trebilcock, Everton. "

I don't think that's right: he was the first black player to score in an FA Cup final but not the first to play in the top flight
The first is a good trick question.

Q: Who has scored for Newcastle United at Wembley under the managership of Kevin Keegan and then later in their career came on as substitute goalkeeper for an injured Peter Schmeichel for Manchester United in a European match?

A: Honey Monster (in Sugar Puffs adverts)

Q. Who are the five Goalkeepers to score in the Premier League?

A. Asmir Begovic. Brad Friedel. Tim Howard. Paul Robinson & Peter Schmeichel.
Denton - I've not kept up with it either re the 3 Os questions
Your answers are all correct but I did not have the most recent one Callum Hudson-Odoi. My third one was Ian Storey-Moore. We concur with Peter Osgood and Tony Woodcock.
Which Three England Captains played for Scunthorpe United?
