Feel that last point maybe ought to have been a let, someone yelled out, did it not distract Halep? But the match was almost won anyway, so I don't think it would have changed the result. Just felt a little anticlimactic.

But yeah, as I say, well done Konta!

Well, no matter! She won anyway.

Moves into the top five for the first time in her career -- provisionally ranked 4, but could lose that if Venus Williams beats her and goes on to win the title.

Only her second Slam semi final, can she go one better this time?
