MW was offered sponsorship by the sun before his Centre Court match. He said no as he was a Liverpool supporter. Can anyone tell me what the Sun has done?

Underneath the banner headlines, "You scum" and "The Truth", the newspaper reported as true, false allegations that; some Liverpool fans picked the pockets of the dying/dead, some Liverpool fans urinated on the cops and some Liverpool fans beat up members of the police force as they were administering the kiss of life. Many of the City's occupants vowed never to buy The Sun again, despite an apology by the then editor, Kelvin Mackenzie, some years later.
