Exciting Rugby Players

On my way home tonight, I took a short cut through the lobby of the Thistle Hotel (now renamed The Waterfront) ... as you do.

And it's full of huge guys in shorts and blue tops, all with bare feet.

It turns out it's the Samoa rugby team. They are all staying there. Apperently they are playing the US this weekend (yes, I might've stopped just for a quick chat!)

I quite often walk through there barefoot, and lots of people wear shorts about the place.

They all looked quite smart, I think.

I was a rugby player once upon a time but I gave it up because boots made my feet stink....
