I like the headline though "Extremist 'takeovers' in Birmingham schools" much less offensive than just "Muslim 'takeovers' in Birmingham.

Do you have examples of moderate Muslims taking over schools?
Extremist 'takeovers' in Birmingham schools?

CORBYLOON, did you read the post thoroughly before putting digit to keyboard?

No, I doubt it is just a Brum thing.
HS, that's not the same thing. In Falkirk it's a policy being applied to what are essentially faith schools - in this case catholic. In Birmingham, the schools in question are secular - or, at least they should be.
I did read the post and ANOTHEOLDGIT is suggesting that it is Muslim problem and not only one of extremist Muslims.
What is an issue is the unwillinggness of councils to tackle any school issues involving local mosques.

My wife was a Deputy Head teacher in an inner-city Catholic school which had a majority Muslim intake.

When boys arrived on Monday after Friday prayers, their feet would still bear the weals where the Mullahs had beaten them as they knelt to pray for trasngressions such as not knowing the Koran section by heart.

Since this counts as child abuse, my wife would regularly refer to Social Services who would equally regularly bounce her enquiry back with the edict that they could not interfee with local religious practices.

If that attitude is being duplicated across the UK, then we are right to be concerned that such actions are ignored for fear of 'causing offence'.

Personally, I would take a great and very personal delight in causing offence if it meant the exposure of such barbaric behaviour.

(You see AOG, I do not support Muslims no matter what they do - cruelty is cruelty, which ever faith is used to shield it).
Phobia.
Is he, Sorry I read it differently.

AOG are you suggesting that is a moderate Muslim issue or suggesting the Extremist headline is less offensive because it defines the real problem?
keyplus - a little cryptic - can you elaborate please?
Keyplus, this is not a phobia – it’s a fear that is entirely justifiable.
Andy, i think he may have added a comma to your first line in brackets- which would completely change the meaning....

All part and parcel of the same thing isn't it, they are all Muslims.

The same thing applies when anything to do with WW2 is discussed these days, during WW2 we blamed the Germans, now this term is not very often used, much more PC to blame the Nazis.
I can't for one minute think they will restrict their nasty practices in Birmingham alone. I just hope other counties are vigilant to them.
Were ALL Germans, Nazis, ANOTHEOLDGIT?

Of course they weren't, but the majority would support them against the Allies,

Now answer this question how does one define a Muslim from an extreme Muslim, until it is too late?
well if nothing else you've given the apologists another platform to say how lovely the ROP is.
Aog- khandro. He hasn't edited the post - i think that's how he read it.
