Dont be so prudish AOG - get your mug of Ovaltine and a slice of Maderia cake ; get comfy in your armchair ...
No we do not need this garbage.
What on earth will they come up with next. Makes me think that I have lived too long.
I doubt that I'll watch it but I've certainly got no objection to it being shown.
Watching people having sex is not so beautiful, trigger.
Bet Graham and Ivy will be starring in it

What a load of, I won't be watching it.
I would dispute that this programme will necessarily be 'garbage' - a term which I would reserve for badly made television, and that will require a viewing for assessment first.

However, I don't really see any particular benefit from the format as described - so sex and pornography are different? Well, actually, no they are not - it's the perception in the viewer that varies.

I probably won't bother watching - it doesn't look too exciting as far as I am concerned.

The programme makers claim they were careful to weed out exhibitionists.

Can't see the shy and timid queuing up take part.
I think sex and pornography are different. Pornography is unrealistic.
ummmm - if i understand the programme's blurb successfully, the point they are trying to make is that the sex enjoyed by you or I, or the majority of the viewing public, is different from that portrayed by the pornography industry.

Wow - as a thinking adult, i really didn;t need that explained to me.

That's like someone sitting me down and telling me that Lewis Hamilton driving his Formula One car round a track and me driving my Fiat Punto to work are both driving, but are essentially not the same.

Thanks Channel 4 - I don't need that explained to me - thanks all the same.
We've had the full set on tv now - plenty of real life, close up births; a death; an autopsy and now 'real' people having sex.
Ms Frostrup - as a paid journalist - should be taught basic English.

There is no such thing as 'realy realy mature' - it's like saying 'almost unique'.

There are no degrees to maturity, it's either mature or it's not - so maybe she should stop trying to sound like a student, and act her age.
They're going at it in an opaque box. I've never watched 'The Cube'. Is that something similar?
Sandy, I like your expression " going at it "
It made me laugh.
I think it's like one of those Schrodinger boxes, sandyRoe, in which they could either be doing something or not

JNO, you might have the germ of an idea for a game show there. Put couples in Schrodinger type boxes and let the contestants try and guess who did or didn't.
andy-hughes: if you are that keen on basic English...you shouldn't be making elementary spelling mistakes! At least the Daily Mail article managed to get "really" correct.
jno - is this the cat? http://tinyurl.com/pfzfkyq
