Just saw a bit of this on the news. A man was asking the crowd to sing something which sounded like he was asking them to sing the 'carrot song' - what was he actually asking them to sing (I did rewind it, but it was really unclear and one of my ears is not working properly)?

At least it cleared up, was hail, thunder and lightening in Manchester City Centre yesterday afternoon

Carrick does sound a lot more likely than 'carrot'.
Nothing would surprise me round here though!

I was glad to escape town, those little hooter horn things and flags waving everywhere for hours before the parade.
