We've got Arsenal at home in the next round of the FA Cup.

Arsenal fans are okay, yes? Not yobs like Chelsea or Millwall?

The players are ok - but not sure about the sanity of the manager. Good luck Seagulls.

I'm only worried about the fans. Some of the fans from the Prem and Championship can be a bit rough.
Well... as we all know Arsenal fans are a bit dodgy
Think Arsenal have to beat Swansea in a Replay yet.
Is this about netball?
Question Author
Oh yeah, they did mention Swansea or Arsenal.

Well Swansea are not going to beat Arsenal, are they.

But we might !!
Question Author
A post about Netball?

Why would that ever happen?
Brighton is all about balls of some sort shoota ...
Don't write off Swansea they're playing well this season, but I do think the temptation of playing against some Brighton boys may be too tempting for Arsenal to resist..
We have beaten Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates this season, so dont count your chicken's just yet Jayne.

Who is "we" pipers? Swansea?

My apologies Jayne SWANSEA CITY
Question Author
Oh right, Swansea City.

Oh, so hang on ... if you beat Arsenal, then you, not them, will be coming down to play us.
defo do not write swans off tho arse do have home advantage. swans jammily got two goal first leg lead against chelsea in league cup too...love to get a ticket to that cup game at the amex tho i suspect they will be bloody pricey as per usual. uta
are you worried about pre/post match trouble/violence at the stadium or in town?who ,in ur opinion are the worse fans,i follow albion but often cannot afford tickets but on those occasions i have been i never witnessed trouble at amex/withdean tho as a child i remember sheff utd fans running on pitch at goldstone and crapping myself, also i read about fans fighting on trains locally.

Rob ...

Hey, babes ... nice to meet another Gull !

I don't think there would be any trouble at the stadium. And not actual violence afterwards. But some visiting fans, when they are in the town, are just a bit oiky and rough, and others are quite nice. The ones who chant are a bit intimidating.

The worst ones? I didn't like Millwall very much, or ... was it Leeds United?

There were some fans a while back, I can't remember where they were from, who smashed a load of stuff at The Pump House after the game. They were throwing chairs and everything.

It was a bit different at Withdean, wasn't it. I think also, League One was really different from the Championship. A bit more easy going? If you didn't mind being in the family block, at the far end from where the teams came out, you could have a couple of rows to yourself sometimes, lol. Much more atmosphere up in G and H Block with the loud fans.

I don't know when the Arsenal Swansea replay happens. I suppose we should root for the underdog. But a home game against Arsenal would be exciting.

Actually, for the sake of pipers, I'll cheer for Swansea.

nice to see the robots have added a link about gibboncentral to this thread. Perhaps they are having a little joke? Or perhaps they don't like football.
