What a win. Does anyone know what price he was at the outset?

Indeed Maidup. Tiger owes me a fiver for my misplaced confidence in him!

And Jason Day owes me a fiver for pulling out mid way through second round.
...mm....the lefty owes me £25 for that trip to the bamboo off the stand......total crap recovery effort......
it's as bad as gorse to play out of, bloody stuff.
looked unplayable ...couldn't he have taken a drop?......... better than the triple...
see other "Vaughan" thread, commoner...
What"s Bubba done..?..and I"m sure that his Mother does not care for his monicker, wishing he would change it..

Hi Z...not a real name no ;-)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubba_Watson
Bubba Watson, winner of the Masters, left handed golfer and prodigious hitter of the ball, think he has the longest drive on average on the Tour. Probably a family nickname.....useless info, his wife is 6ft 4, a former pro women's basketball player.

I could tease you by suggesting sticking to the football or something like that, I won't....
thanks,c...why I"ll betcha Bubba is as common a nickname way down there in Bagdad,Florida...as Del Boy in Bermondsey,Surrey Docks..lol
You are probably right, Z; you do hear folk being called that from time to time...there's also a propensity in the States for family childhood nicknames to stick for life. Mate of mine is called EY after being the youngest of the family and when Mickey Mouse was on the box, the only thing he could say was the final two letters when they went M-I-C.....
How he got the nickname.

Tiger is also a nickname for Eldrick Tont Woods.....maybe he should drop the Tiger 'till he gets his teeth back.....mind you "Tont" doesn't quite have the same ring to it eh? ;-)
Tiger named by his dad after a friend.
Yes thanks for that k...if you wantgolfers nicknames then here you go....funny that Lefty Mickelson is right handed in all but golf mmm...

commoner - he became left handed as when he was very young he copied his father by standing in front of him facing him......mirror golf! Quite remarkable but he must be pretty ambidextrous.

As life goes on, I find myself increasingly left handed (left foot is more powerful kicking a ball) and can swing a left handed club...not quite as well as right handed ones though - it did surprise me that his first shot right handed failed as it did - must have been a horrendous lie.
