For goodness sake .... . .. .P-l-e-a-s-e
Same calendar year or same season?
My Brain hurts !!! ;-))
Do you mean all 4 played for Everton and captained their country in the same season?
Or do you mean player A did both in season X, player B did both in another season, etc
Kevin Ratcliffe?
Neville Southall?
Gary Speed?
factor - he never knows what he means.
I assume the question came from another pub quiz.
PK123- you could try that AQA text site that gives you your first question free

As usual with your questions I'm never too sure what you're actually asking for!

Anyway I'm going to plump for 1985 when Everton had a host of international players - perm (literally) any four from the following: Peter Reid (England), Gary Lineker (England), Kevin Ratcliffe (Wales), Kevin Sheedy (Rep.of Ireland), Paul Bracewell (England), Graeme Sharp (Scotland), Trevor Steven (England), Andy Gray (Scotland), Pat van den Hauwe (Wales), Gary Stevens (England), Neville Southhall (Wales).

The answers in that lot somewhere - good luck!
Good list, mark01- but were they all captains that year?
Actually, I'm confused by the question (surprise surprise) as the title suggests they all need to have been a CAPTAIN ofEverton whereas the question says only PLAYED for Everton.
Maybe PK123 can clarify when he finds a minute between pub quizzes
