Royal Ascot accounts for all races in today's ITV7. There are some quite large fields - unfortunately for me only a couple are handicaps:-(

Just a double in the Trixie for me - another couple of strides and Time To Rumble would have nicked it.
Knew Hayley would get a winner this week, i had hoped she would have done it in the 5.00, though.

Very early bet before I get ready to travel. Off for a couple of nights to Ynys Mon and have to water the garden before we go. I picked these last night and have not studied any stats or form. I think that the favourite Trueshan should win the last but if there is no rain connections say it will not run so I have done my runner from last year which won at 66/1 for me. Stayed with the Ascot runners to save time. Done the ITV7 and little E/W Accas down to the 4 timer but left the first runner which is currently evens out of the bets. **** E/W Acca, Trebles, and Doubles. ⁕⁕E/W Double and singles. Good luck.

That took a lot longer than i thought it would. Some decent enough racing away from the 'glamour' of Ascot.

5.00 Asc; Black Rod @ 7/1 - 8 places
5.35 Asc; Falling Shadow @ 7/1 - 5 places

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £47, 4 winners = £6987.

ITV7; above qualifiers bar *, plus Alfred Munnings, Hurricane Lane**, Home Affairs and Falcon Flight.

**Taken out of £1 e.w. acca.

If Home Rules is as good as it is believed to be, it wins. If not, i can see Highfield Princess in there at the finish. Hence it's inclusion in my L15 but my reliance on the fav for ITV7 and Placepot purposes.

By the way, Togo, Reshoun didn't win this race last year - it won the race it contested t'other day. Stratum was the winner of last year's Queen Alexandra Stakes.

Seems they divided yesterday's £200,000 between the 40 who had all 7 winners, instead of using the Tie-break - unless they'd all gone for the same answer, that is.

The thing is, gg, just how much hope can one person have. First we have to hope that our 40/1 shot wins the race. Then we have to hope that our name is first out of the hat containing all those who have been give the same horse.
