Well the festival is still on....it takes a lot to scare the racing fraternity. I read an interesting comment about sports stadiums being full and the perceived dangers of the virus being transmitted, the point being that if they close them all down people are going to gather in pubs and bars to watch instead. The stadiums are covered wall to wall with cctv and tracing carriers would be relatively easy but in the bars etc not so easy. Still....I am watching at home but one of my Brothers will be there for 3 days. Can't see the point of the ITV7 including 2 races from Southwell, what's all that about? I have picked a horse in all the Cheltenham races but for now only done....

Asterion Forlonge @10/3 1.30Ch.
Notebook @10/3 2.10Ch.
Kildisart @12/1 2.50Ch**
Cilaos Emery @15/2 3.30Ch.

£1.00 E/W Acca Double and Trebles. Done ** as a free £2.50 e/w single will probably do Cilaos Emery later. I have also earmarked Honeysuckle 4.10, Beakstown 4.50 and Springfield Fox 5.30 for later and even another punt if it all goes pear shaped.

The ITV7 is the first five named at Cheltenham and Mukha Magic 1.45 Southwel, & De Bruyne Horse 2.25 Southwell. Done a little 7 timer on that just in case 25,600/1. Good luck if you have a punt and I hope you enjoy the racing .

Wouldn't let me on this page yesterday, Togo. Had to open a separate thread. Did you draw attention from some of AB's numpties, or something. 4 removed answers. Just about to cross the 'Ts' and dot the 'is' as regards today's selections. Where's yours?

Brave man. Betting against Tiger Roll.
Wo9nder what all the removed answers were?
Can't see past the first 2 in the betting in the first race so I've had a bit of e.w. on Son Of Camos @ 50s.
Whose backing against the Tiger, Spice? Think you can get 10/1 on TR doing the Cheltenham/Aintree double again, this year.

You got it in one Ken. To be honest I am only posting now so that you know that I am OK. Seriously thinking about my ongoing participation on this site, and would not have signed in again if the thread had remained down. Well done for yesterday I just about broke even with a couple of winners and good places. Todays picks are

Mossy Fen 1.30 e/w Bet

Copperhead 2.10
Dame De Campagnie 2.50
Tronador 4.50
Queens Brook 5.30

50p Lucky 15.

Done the top 2 with Envoi Allen, Backoftheenvelope, Shadows Girl, Defi Du Seuil, Tiger Roll in the ITV7. gOOD LUCK.
Looking like a day for short priced favs. No multi-bets on this meeting. So, next race; £5 win on Champ @ 4/1.
Ah, there you are, Togo. Best of luck for today. Trying to find 2 more at other meetings to go with the 2 I've selected in the Cheltenham handicaps. Don't think i'll be emulating yesterday's success. Back when I've made my mind up.
Turned my back on the tv then, thought Champ had shot his bolt with some indifferent jumping. Finished like an express train :-))

2.50 Che; Dame De Campagnie @ 4/1 (Rev f/c with Birchdale)
3.45 Hun; Chain Smoker @ 9/2
4.50 Che; Night Edition @ 14/1
5.15 Ling; Bernies Boy @ 10/1

Win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £46, 4 winners = £4,846.

That is more like it. Tidy single bet on the Dame.....as big a punt as I ever do, £5.
Same win stake as mine, there, Togo. Nice little drift, too :-) I usually stick to a fiver win stake in my L15 singles but I did do a tenner on Epatante yesterday because besides really fancying it, the price was a tad short. Just watching the next race - any dangers to the fav are out of the race.
Not going against the Tiger in the Cross Country but I will either look for an e.w. or do a forecast with one to come 2nd to the fav.
FYI.

I just put a quid on my old trusty friend Politologue for old times s(t)ake
Tiger's 2/3 on my phone. What happened to 4/6?

Is the Abed giving us a tip?
Used to have 100/30, Spice. That's gone too. Now 10/3. Must be a reason and it probably means the bookies keep a bit more for themselves:-(
