Well the festival is still on....it takes a lot to scare the racing fraternity. I read an interesting comment about sports stadiums being full and the perceived dangers of the virus being transmitted, the point being that if they close them all down people are going to gather in pubs and bars to watch instead. The stadiums are covered wall to wall with cctv and tracing carriers would be relatively easy but in the bars etc not so easy. Still....I am watching at home but one of my Brothers will be there for 3 days. Can't see the point of the ITV7 including 2 races from Southwell, what's all that about? I have picked a horse in all the Cheltenham races but for now only done....

Asterion Forlonge @10/3 1.30Ch.
Notebook @10/3 2.10Ch.
Kildisart @12/1 2.50Ch**
Cilaos Emery @15/2 3.30Ch.

£1.00 E/W Acca Double and Trebles. Done ** as a free £2.50 e/w single will probably do Cilaos Emery later. I have also earmarked Honeysuckle 4.10, Beakstown 4.50 and Springfield Fox 5.30 for later and even another punt if it all goes pear shaped.

The ITV7 is the first five named at Cheltenham and Mukha Magic 1.45 Southwel, & De Bruyne Horse 2.25 Southwell. Done a little 7 timer on that just in case 25,600/1. Good luck if you have a punt and I hope you enjoy the racing .

Wouldn't let me on this page yesterday, Togo. Had to open a separate thread. Did you draw attention from some of AB's numpties, or something. 4 removed answers. Just about to cross the 'Ts' and dot the 'is' as regards today's selections. Where's yours?

I think the Abed has been on the sauce. :-)
Question Author
//Is the Abed giving us a tip?//

Haah...Yep but it is a non runner. Advising that this thread is now open...........but it was linked to the wrong thread. :))
Well done with the old horse, Togo :-)))
Question Author
Well I'll be blowed.... Politilogue murdered em.

Just watched the replay again and still don't believe it Haha. Think I will try and repeat the trick and have a bit of Yanworth in the Tiger Roll Jolly. 14/1 for 4 places looks half handy. £1.00 e/w then.
Question Author
How many times have I put faith in Yanworth? It either wins, is pulled up or fallen. Gonna be a bumpy ride.
Best of luck. My £1 e.w. has gone on Diessel D'allier @ 33s. Really enjoying these fashion segments :-/////////////////
Mmmmmmm, wonder what that does to O'Leary's thinking about the GN for Tiger Roll. Dallier just held on to 4th spot so a little bit more shrapnel to add to the collection:-)
Question Author
Noticed Ken.......what did Yanworth do? Stopped dead like a jet on an aircraft carrier and sent the jockey over his head then carried on running without him. Should have known. Have Tronador in the 4.50 and Queens Brook in the 5.30 to run. They are in a punt with the Dame so fingers crossed. Will also have a little bit on singles.
Night Edition doesn't quite get up, 2nd by about 3 parts of a length @ 16/1 = more shrapnel:-)
Not overly fond of bumpers but having a look-see.
Question Author
I picked the right trainer but the wrong horse. Dohh. I have noticed the other thread.......and detect the insidious aura of a certain serial spreader of ill will. Even got a nice new name .....again.
Settled on £1.50 e.w. on Darling Daughter @ 16/1 (4 places) in the last. Was 20s but came in 4 points while I was deliberating:-(
Question Author
May just have an e/w nibble on One True King @100/1 the Twiston-Davies team rarely bother with bumpers. I think they like the point to point route.
Oh well, another decent day. £42 staked, £83.10 returned. Profit of £41.10 = running profit after 2 days of £225.01p. Best of luck with tomorrow's attempts, Togo.
Question Author
No complaints Ken enjoying the racing, and am on the premises as far as the fun tokens account is concerned. Going to have a bite to eat and have a look at tomorrow's runners. My brother is there for 3 days and he says that the roar when Politilogue hosed up was unbelievable. He also said that he thought of me and told his mates that I always "had it".
Question Author
Lovely morning up here. Bright sunshine again. I had a stroll on the prom yesterday after a dental check up and the temp. was 11c . I have known it colder than that in August up here. Picked for today and find that I was compelled to stick with runners that I have chosen in the past. Possible tidy each way return. Have also done the ITV7 again but still can't understand why they would include runners that are not at the big meeting.

Faugheen ** 1.30
Welsh Saint** 2.10
Frodon** 2.50
Emitom** 3.30
Clondaw Castle 4.10
Emmas Joy 4.50
Plan Of Attack 5.30

** £1.00 e/w Acca. 30p Doubles and Trebles. Singles on anything more than 4/1(free bets if they win) The ITV7 is the first 5 on that list with Keep the River 1.55 Hexham, & Summit Like Herbie 3.05 Donny. Done the e/ w 7 timer @ 460,000/1. That would be nice and the 6 timers. Will be having a punt on the later races as and when. Need to get out handy and back before the off. Good Luck.
Question Author
Darn it Clondaw Castle is a n/r. Put in Happy Diva instead.
Tad late. Good luck, Togo.

1.30; Itchy Feet @ 4/1 (Rev f/c with Mister Fisher)
2.10; Welsh Saint @ 11/2
4.10; Oldgrangewood @ 14/1
5.30; Plan Of Attack

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £56, 4 winners = £5,639.

More to follow.....
Placepot; 3-13-4-8-14-4

Hi Ken. Have you noticed that this thread doesn't appear in "Other Sports" or even the Sports section. We can use it to have "private" conversations like the secret societies that post on here on old threads. :))
