.........losing to the Germans was bad enough but if we had beat them then we'd have been in for an even worse thrashing by the Argies in the Quarter-final

Imagine the bloated cheating druggies smug face lording it over us again

If we had won the Group joeluke we would have faced Ghana instead of Germany and had we beat them we would be playing Uruguay on Friday...........

But we didn't win the group Red, we scrapped through it in 2nd place.......I'm not even sure we'd have beaten Ghana, who are better than the 3 teams we faced in our group

We're not good enough and never are......we have one or two world class individuals but are not a world class team like the Germanys, Brazils, Spains and Argentinas of this world.
Maybe , just maybe the BIG positive from the German defeat was Lampards non goal.
Sep Bloater has at last agreed to look at goal line technology.
No good to us now but it ruins any game for me when officials miss something so blatant.

That's good Mick, but even if Lampards goal had stood the Germans would have still beat us comfortably, they were far superior in every departrment and I still don't think they even got out of 3rd gear
