I hope the team are as ashamed of their "performance" in this tournament as we are to have supported them.

A lack of effort, passion, pride & imagination have done for us once again - over all 4 games.

Yes, had Lampard's goal been allowed, it might have altered the mindset of both teams for the 2nd half, but it wasn't & England let it get to them & Germany took full advantage.

I'm going back to Q & P with an unfeasibly large vodka - feel free to use this thread as you see fit - or not!

In total agreement. I feel sorry for our supporters who travelled all the way to see them - not only have the bunch of Prima Donnas let themselves down, they have let the supporters down. No more can be said.

I'm going to water the garden and take pride in having rescued a poorly hedgehog....

Rooney wasn't fit, Terry was Cr**, lampard played better but when your best player is a keeper who lets in 4 you know you are in trouble... stlill will all be forgotten in time for the europaen championships in a couple of years buy your shirts next wek folks and put them in store.... bargainsd to be had methinks
Maybe if England played for the passion of the game instead of for the money the mindset of the players would be fired up to win........I blame Capello as well!!

Until they change the kit a month before it starts & you're left with an "old" shirt...
Stick with neutral or arty three lions designs.... got some great sparkly ones a couple of weeks ago... shame they shone brighter than the team.... will keep the others for decorating,

Loving your work, rowanwitch! :-)
All I can say Lie-in-King is What The Funicular, What The Funicular, What The Funicular. Is this the worst England performance ever ? Everyone has to take the blame least of all Capello and if I was in charge at the FA I would sack him now. What system was he playing, certainly the players did not have a clue. duh duh duh.........
Still if things work out ok Mourinho will win with madrid next couple of seasons and then he'll be looking for a new challenge.... Wanna Job Jose.....just in time for 2014
None of them deserve to wear the England shirt ever again,,start from scratch with new management and young fresh players, no more Rooney or Lampard, they have lost any wright to wear our countrys shirt ever again.

DISGUSTED AND ruffled around the boa
Capello needs shooting. He could have at least brought on Peter Crouch after half time and possibly Carrick. Crouch scoring record for England is prolific and he would have worried the dodgy German goalkeeper. I dont think Defoe or Rooney had a decent shot on goal
I still cannot believe what I have just watched this afternoon, the whole country has been badly let down once again ! How come the Germans always deliver when it matters and we cannot. An English Manager please and a new approach to everything especially the coaching ! duh ! duh ! I still cannot believe what has happened !!
The thing that really annoyed me we needed goals and Heskey was brought on instead of Crouch.

I'm with you redman, still in shock. After all the hype, the interviews by the manager & players saying they knew where they'd gone wrong & would make it all right - HAH!

Lose Capello & give Stuart Pearce the job - not only is he committed, he should have been! That's a joke, but his kind of passion is what a national side needs.
I stopped watching it was too painful, glad I didn't get to see Heskey come on or I might have thrown something at my telly!
Question Author
I believe I'm right in saying that Heskey had 1 header, tried (& failed) to trap the ball once & that was it...
I agree with everything that has been said.
As I have posted on another thread - Capello MUST go and go now.

If I was the manager I would never pick any of this lot to play for England again, they were absolutely pathetic. Goodbye England, and hopefully goodbye the Italian man
Alan Hansen should be the next manager.

No more foreigners!
David Beckham for England manager, let him have four years to build a new young squad and kick out the dead wood and wasters.
Alan Hansen should become Scotlands manager then no way he would ever have to worry about building a world cup squad.
I allso agree with everything thats been said on here..........I think i'm still more in shock about how sh!t we've played in this tournament.... blah blah blah ggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... i need another drink.
Anybody want to buy an England flag (perhaps to wash the car with !)
