What was the diference between the Liverpool today and the one that lost 2-0 at OT last season?

Two things, I think. 1. Liverpool kept their discipline today, unlike last season when Mascherano kept gobbing off at the ref and got sent off. 2. Gerrard played further forward. Last season he played a lot deeper and was hardly in the game. It was a very good performance from Liverpool. I'm disappointed that we lost, for sure, but sh1t happens. All credit to the Scousers. But we'll be back.

ManUtd....mid field just not playing, Carrick in particular, just like against INTER. Ronaldo and Rooney inneffective today.

Liverpool...Gerrard has to be the best mid-fielder in the world and now Torres back, who tormented the ManUtd defense, made the difference.
